On April 29, 2017 we released review #315 which detailed our top 5 twelve year old single malt scotches. Picking just 5 was a tough task even with the limited number of 12 year old scotches we’ve had. During this review we also announced a bottle give away of Tomatin 12 year sponsored by Tomatin. During our Live Stream (#318) with Scotch Trooper and Highland Park, we discussed the top 5 twelve year old review, and the fan favorite 12 year old picks.
During the first week of the release of the Top 5 video, a lot of you were commenting on your favorites and we took note. I started keeping track of the votes coming in and compiled a list of our fan favorites. Those favorites are listed below, but for more about our picks you’ll have to watch the review.
FAN FAVORITE 12 YEAR OLD SCOTCHES:
- Glendronach
- Highland Park
- Balvenie Doublewood

HONORABLE FAN MENTIONS (ALMOST MADE THE CUT)

Man, just discovered Bunnahabhain 12 year old… wonderful dram!
Glengoyne is one of my favorites
It is a good one. If you haven’t, try some of the other Glengoyne core range 15, 18, 21 or 25, all delicious. We haven’t had the 10 yet.
